Antinomy is proud to welcome Prem Byjnal to their sales team. With more than twenty years in the IT industry, twelve years working knowledge of Sage Line 500 and three years experience with Sage ERP X3, Prem will no doubt prove invaluable to the company. He joins the team after five years at Softline Enterprise as Product Manager and a further year in Sales at Accpac. As a Sales Executive for Antinomy, Prem will initially be growing the Durban customer base but will also be assisting the Joburg office, where necessary.

Antinomy Director Lee-Ann Mounter says they’re thrilled because Prem is a perfect fit for the position which he stepped straight into. She says he knows the products, customers, suppliers and channels. Other than having industry savvy, Prem has broad general business knowledge and understands the various aspects of businesses operations.

Prem says he’s passionate about ‘the solution we take to the market’. He says there’s personal satisfaction when you can listen to customers’ needs and offer a solution.  Lee believes this enthusiasm is infectious and is just one reason why Prem is such a great sales person. She says as a strategic sales person, with large corporate sales experience, he’ll be handling big opportunities that come along.

Prem says he’s very excited about his appointment, saying it’s ‘nice to be part of dynamic and vibrant team’. He says his history with Antinomy dates back to 1992, when he worked together with Antinomy Director Keith Castle. Perhaps we should be saying welcome back Prem!

Antinomy is pleased to announce that a new position – created with customer service in mind – has been taken up by Gareth Holley. Antinomy Director Mike McGrath says the board decided that a   Service Delivery Manager would help better organise the consultants’ work pipeline. He says not only will this ensure that customers get better service, but that the consultants are freed up to focus on the job at hand.

Gareth, a true people’s person who reflects Antinomy’s brand, has been appointed in this exciting new role. Mike says although Gareth has already taken on some of the new position’s responsibilities, the new title now gives him the company’s backing and the authority to make tough business decisions.

With five years at Antinomy under his belt and a former Consultant, Gareth says he’s excited about the challenge that comes along with his appointment. He says because he’s already been working with consultants, doing scheduling and helping them to solve issues, he feels he ‘worked hard to earn this role.’ Gareth believes having someone’s full-time attention to address any customers concerns will ensure that customers are getting the service they require. As Mike says it’s this confidence and passion for ‘getting things to work properly’ that has earned Gareth the position of Service Delivery Manager.

To coincide with a boom in business Antinomy has decided to appoint a non-executive Chairman of the board. Simon Robinson took up this new position starting the 1st of May bringing with him world-class experience. Acknowledging the company’s growth, the shareholders decided someone with big business acumen should head up the board. Simon, with his extensive management and strategic planning skills in the IT industry, fit the bill perfectly.

Simon owned a UK based software company in 2000 before selling it to one of the industry’s leading suppliers – the Sage Group in 2004. He then, as a Sage Exec member, went on to head up Business Development at Sage. There Simon says he gained great insight into ‘buying, selling and starting businesses’. Coupled with that he has around thirty years IT business experience under his belt, particularly in the reseller model in which Antinomy operates. It’s no wonder that Antinomy Directors Lee-Ann Mounter and Keith Castle are thrilled to have Simon lead their company through its’ next exciting chapter.

Antinomy is brimming with pride after scooping three awards at the Gala Awards Evening during the Accpacc conference at the beginning of February.

While the company's walls boast of many awards, Antinomy Director Lee Ann Mounter says she was “pleasantly surprised” when they were called up in not one, but three categories. She explains that since Softline Enterprise has crossed over to Accpacc, Antinomy is now playing in a bigger market and competing on a much larger scale. Yet despite the field of partners increasing almost tenfold, the company has still managed to stand out - proving that they're not just a small fish in a big sea. Here's a quick look at each award:
